Riina O in Copenhagen

A few weeks ago Riina O was invited to Denmark again - this time teaching the glove making workshop at the Copenhagen Academy of Fashion.

A group of students and recent graduates were lectured about the rich history of the glove design, got a handle on a variety of decorative stitches, learned to adjust the standard glove pattern and hand made a well fitting leather glove. The 5-day workshop allowed some time for the students to design their final pair of gloves and start making it.
As for me, I learned some Xhosa language from one of the students.

For the Danes who missed out on this workshop, do not worry - I will be back teaching there again over the two weekends in November 2018 and the workshop will be open to the public to sign up.
Stay tuned for more info...
